This song was inspired by a (real) performance from a lead singer of a band, who fell off the front of the stage, about six feet down, to the concrete ground, mid-performance, who then got right back up, climbed back on stage, and finished the show as though nothing happened.
The sound of the song does not relate to that band at all, though.
